Q: Are residents allowed to leave the building?
A: Residents are permitted to spend time outside in designated common areas, and unless prohibited for medical reasons, are permitted to leave the facility to do shopping, visit family, friends, or attend special events. Any departure from the facility requires a doctors order allowing them to leave, must be coordinated with the charged nurse, and they must return before midnight.
Q: Will I need to sell my house in order for my spouse to qualify for medicaid coverage?
